If I Get Dementia - A poem by Martin Wells

We at Unite Carers would like to share with you a poem written by our friend Martin Wells – If I Get Dementia. Martin lives locally and writes from the perspective of someone living with dementia. I think you’ll all agree that his words are emotive, beautifully poignant and certainly powerful.

Thank you Martin for agreeing to share your words with us.

A Message from our Patron Angela Rippon at the Unite Carers' AGM for 2024

Thank you to everyone who attended.

Volunteering

Do you recall the last time you helped someone with an act of kindness? Can you remember the feeling of joy it gave you and the extra spring in your step? Evidence shows that helping others is beneficial to our mental and physical health.

Whatever your experience or knowledge, we have volunteering roles to suit everyone at Unite Carers. Please contact us for an informal chat and find out what we can offer you.
